המרכז הלוגיסטי של ועדת הבחירות המרכזית של הכנסת

מנהלת הבינוי הממשלתי הינה הזרוע הביצועית של משרד האוצר/החשב הכללי והדיור הממשלתי, ואחראית על הקמת עשרות קריות ממשלה ובתי משפט.

בשנת 1993 הוקמה מנהלת הבינוי הממשלתי (או בשמה הקודם "מנהלת הקמת קריות ממשלה ובתי משפט") ליישום תכנית אב לבניית משרדי ממשלה מודרניים, ולשיפור השירות לקהל ותנאי עבודה הולמים.

המנהלת הינה יחידת מטה לייזום וביצוע בניה חדשה, ומהווה סמכות מקצועית בנושאי בינוי. המנהלת מטפלת בבינוי משרדים ראשיים (מינסטריונים), קריות מחוזיות ונפתיות, בתי משפט ופרויקטי בינוי שונים.

המרכז הלוגיסטי החדש של ועדת הבחירות הוקם באזור התעשייה חבל מודיעין, והחליף את המרכז הישן של ועדת הבחירות המרכזית בחולון.

המרכז הוקם לצורך הניהול הלוגיסטי של הליך הבחירות לכנסת. במבנה פועלות היחידות הנדרשות לצורך קיום הליך הבחירות.

המבנה מכיל מרכז מיון ואחסנה, משרדים ושטחי פריקה וטעינה.

בשנת 2016 הוחלט על הרחבת המרכז הלוגיסטי באמצעות הוספת קומה בשטח של כ-500 מ"ר ושדרוג המערכות במתקן כולו. התוספת כוללת משרדים, כיתות לימוד ואודיטוריום.
