Ben-Gurion University – Department of Chemistry Building

Ben Gurion University of the Negev is one of Israel’s leading universities in many groundbreaking global research fields.
This building is designed for research laboratories and offices of the Department of Chemistry. There are about 40 laboratories situated in the building in the fields of organic chemistry, biochemistry, physical chemistry, biophysics and electro-optics.
The building serves as a laboratories complex that contains sophisticated electromechanical systems, including clean rooms, high-precision temperature and humidity control rooms and clean gas systems that include 100 chemical fume cupboards using a variable air volume (VAV) system.
Excavation and shoring works began in 2016.
The building is Under construction.
