M.S.R, the David Azrieli National Medical Simulation Center, has been operating at Sheba Medical Center since 2001.
At the center, medical staff train in clinical and communication simulations, conducted in a simulated medical environment. This experiential environment streamlines learning, enabling a structured and safe experience through documentation, questioning and immediate feedback to trainees – without unnecessary risk to patients.
Due to the growing need for courses, continuing education and training of medical teams, it was decided to build an additional building that will be planned as a new and integrated modular center and will be the main facility of the Medical Simulation Center.
The building, designed using a 3D design and managed as a BIM project, will include an underground floor with a hall designated for surgical skills, the upper four floors that will include preparation rooms, meetings, simulators, study and training rooms, communication rooms, technical rooms and surgical skills rooms.
