This project provides drainage of the Kidron Riverbed, Stage 2, from the church of St. Stefan to Yad Avshalom and Silwan.
The drainage carrier has a 6 m² cross-section and channels runoff from northern Jerusalem to the Kidron riverbed. which is parallel with the sewage pipe.
Because of the sharp gradient and the large quantities of sediment that pass through the carrier when it rains, the carrier was constructed using specially reinforced concrete and was equipped with protective devices to provide it with a long service life.
