Schechter Institute of Jewish Studies

The Schechter Institute of Jewish Studies is an academic institution recognized by the Israel Council for Higher Education, whose goals are Jewish research, teaching and management of Jewish studies through an egalitarian and pluralistic approach with emphasis on their significance and implementation in modern life.
The institute is located behind the Israel Museum. [Tafnit] prepared a program in 2003 for construction of a new campus for the institute with four main components: a classroom building, administrative building, seminary and library.
Up to the current time, the classroom building and site development works and open parking have been built as part of the overall program.
