The building was constructed on the eastern slopes of the campus.
Its construction required special design solutions for its foundations because of the local topography.
This structure replaced the original academy building on Bezalel Street in the center of the city. The building includes, among other things, ceramic, carpentry and plastics workshops, jewelry and design workshops, lecture halls, classrooms, laboratories and a cafeteria.
